Default slight exhaust leak at midpipe/cat: how bad?

Ever since I installed my header, Ive noticed an exhaust leak-type sound from inside the cabin. I would assume that this is coming from the midpipe to cat connection. Does this affect exhaust flow? If so, how drastically? I searched BTW. Thanks

Just make sure it's not leaking INTO the cabin, lol.

lol I had the same leak for a lil bit. you wont get a head eche as long as you dont sit in traffic for too long. But you will gain a little bit of bottom end once you fix that, depending on how bad it is. your car may not sound as cool but you will be a lil faster...

well..i didnt know this ..then i want to fix, without a doubt! Any suggestions on how to fix it? I think the problem is those damn bolts with the springs..its super hard to compress the springs and the bolts have a close end on them. So its like a combination of the springs being as compressed as theyll go, so they act like big washers, and the closed-end bolts do the same thing. Any ideas? thanks

remember to use new gaskets, and the springs are self tensioning they have a stop built into the bolt so they stop when tight, so that shouldnt be your problem
