loss of power and exhaust not making any sound
ok i know the title sounds weird but yesteday my exhaust suddenly stopped working and i have a huge loss of power especially when vtec kicks in i have no check engine lights, and it revs all the way to 8300 but just is feels as if it is struggling and has a loss of power. also my exhaust dos not make any noise it sounds like a stock civic and i can not hear any noticable leaks. the only thing i can think of is either a leak somewhere or my exhaust is clogged somewhere like in the muffler or in the CAT but i just got a new cat installed, what do u guys think

Unbolt the exhaust in each section
Start car on header only, then the cat, then the mid-pipe, and then add the axle-back.

Re: loss of power and exhaust not making any sound (Spade)
well i would but my exhaust is all one pipe from the cat and back 2.25 so i can only unbolt from either the header and then after the cat. i guess im just gonna have to take it to a shop again. man i hate wasting money. i bet its something so simple too

Ahh. Did you find the problem that caused your cat to die before you replaced it? Converters don't usually clog up by themselves. Did it look like it was melted?

Re: (Chiovnidca)
well i guess i didnt find out why it clogged. i thoght it was becaus it was old, because it came with my jdm ITR swap and i tried to use it and then it clogged up. i never thought about something wrong causing it to clog up now. i mean what could cause the CAT to clog up after 2 weeks its a brand new CAT

That would be about one cylinders worth, wouldn't it? Is it running on three cylinders?
