need help on a good head set up for turbo gsr

got a 2000 gsr turbo but cant decide wat head set up to go with got any advice the block is gonna be runin pistons rods and a block guard
Can you be more specific on bottom end reinforcements?
Headwork is the last thing you should be worrying about on a boosted setup. The only thing that you should consider is a set of cams until the bottom end is fully built up.

Type R pistons won't even fit on those rods. And plus, they are cast and higher compression than you want. You need to do more research on this.
Get forged rods, forged pistons, and skip out on the block guard.

Stock.
Focus on the bottom end and proper fuel management if you want the setup to last. There has been plenty of power made with the stock head and cams.
