Default h22a vs. b18c5 new project need advise please.....

i am planning to do a project on my 98 hatch budged will be 5k. cant decide to go with a h22a or a b18c5 due to have never ridden any of them, please advise asap will be appreciated. thanks

well the h22 is going to be the faster motor...but...i hear not experienced only heard that the axles on the h22 tend to break...also putting it in is going to be a problem...but the C5 which what i am planning to do on my EJ8 is going to be a bolt on and its guarenteed to be less problems for you...meaing less problems less money to spend...but...like they all say...if you do it right and find some one who can swap the motor the correct way it should run fine....my roomates and i swapped in a GSR into a EJ1...we just got done with it last week...took us about a good 2 weeks but...thats just becuz we were short parts...aniwaise....its running pretty good...considering this is our first swap we've done all together...
