Oil sending unit dimensions (thread pitch and diameter)
Ok this might be kind of a dumb or even unnecessary question, but here it goes.
To do the LS/VTEC conversion to the block, you remove the oil sending unit and thread in a Tee connection. then you thread in the oil sending unit to one of the other connections, then attach a -4AN steel braided hose and so on.
I don't have the sending unit with me or even the block, since I'm at work. My question is, what is the size and thread pitch on the oil sending unit??????
I'm assuming ( due to what c-speed racings article on LS/VTEC)... is 1/8 NPT.
Is this correct???? I won't be able to get to my parts until tomorrow to start building and I don't want to be running around trying to find parts. I would like to get the parts before I start building.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

A couple things- you won't want to run the Tee directly from the block, it puts a lot of stress on the tee and it can break and you'll lose all your oil and kill your engine. The oil pressure switch is a 1/8" BSPT-28 fitting. You will not find fittings for this, unless you fork out $13 for the Z10 adapter. The normal 1/8" NPT fittings will work good enough. Use them.
