Default NEED HELP Water leak under passenger side dasboard

I have a 93 Integra, an I just recently noticed a water leak after a night of rain.
Water is coming from the passenger side dash by the heater box.

Anybody experience this problem and what it is? LET ME KNOW THANKS

this is a very common problem for da's and has been solved before..it involves a couple new plugs and some sealant..

whoa whoa whoa u guys are kinda harsh to the newbie haha but yea dude i have this problem and i have yet to try to fix this problem. hopefully that site that nickG posted works. and than hopefully u can try it and tell me how it goes

Assuming you have a sun roof I would start by making sure that the drain tubes aren't blocked, I haven't looked at the ones in the front, but the drain tubes in the back attach to a little fitting that directs the water out of your car, I'm assuming that it's the same in the front but I could be wrong. Either way I'd start there. BTW the tubes run down the pillars.

if you have a sunroof im almost 100% sure thats your problem pull your headliner out and check the tubes for breaks or clogs

9 times out of 10 it's the seals underneath the cowel. Quick way to check....pour some water on cowel and with a flash light, look under the dash on the pass. side. If it is those seals, water should be dripping down the side of the blower motor box.

thanks for all the info. I had already checked the drain tubes in the sunroof, they were clear. Turns out it was the seals under the cowl. Thanks nick

its a firewall plug you have to replace it. good luck
