Looking at an '95 GSR
I'm looking at a '96 GSR for $3600 CAD and it's being sold as is. Now the owner has mentioned that it's throwing an ABS CEL. I know it could be a sensor or ABS controller in the engine bay.
Worst case scenario, what do you think the worst thing could be and how much to fix it roughly, (US or CAD).
Thanks

more info duder like milage interior conditions. Worst case you could just disable abs... then again you live in Canada. You could take it to a shop and have them do an evaluation on the car and see what needs to get done.

agreed. ABS is overated anyways...lol, my abs light has been on for the past 3 years. You can check the code the same way as you would check for cels. It occasionally works....as for fixing it, sometimes it can be a quick fix if you know how to play with it... I wouldnt worry about the abs, but worry more about the drivability of the car, transmission, rust, etc.
