special edition?
i have a 94 se. I just took my wing off and noticed that the 3rd brake light the one in my trunk wasnt wired. so i ran the wires to it and now it works. I was wondering y does acura put the 3rd light there with no wires and its not hooked up.
A car is built a type of way.
You have different trim levels of that same car.
One has more options than the other.
And in your case you have an SE.
All SE's came with a rear spoiler.
All it is, its an LS with a wing, leather, and wheels.
But mind you that you are paying more for the SE than the LS.
Thats because they are adding stuff like the, Wing spoiler.
Basically what im saying is that building all the cars in the production line the same is more cost efficient than just building different type of cars for all the trims.
Thats why you see the 3rd brake light on the SE.
Hope that made sense

yes it does but in that case wouldnt it have wires to connect to it with or without the spoiler?

My GS-R is the same way. I am the second owner, and know the original owner. The LEDs in the spoiler act as your third brake light, so Acura/Honda disconnected the rear hatch/package tray mounted light.
