Finally Took my car out of storage...(long story made shorter)
Well, i had some free time today so i decided to take my car out from winter storage.
So the car battery was dead... got my mom. pushed the car out of the garage while she steered. made it.
moved other car to boost it... guess what? my dad's cheap booster cables are too short.
try pushing my car and removing it. my car gets stuck (my driveway is new and unpaved). I can't push the car in and i can't push it out. not to mention the fact that's it's diagonal across my driveway.
i try switching batteries with my other car. after a hell of a time lifting them out (the car was in an awkward spot), i find out that the other battery is too big and won't fit into my car.
so i try boosting the car with 2 batteries hooked up. I can hear it crank, but the other battery doesn't have enough power. (damn you toyota for putting cheap batteries in the corolla...)
finaly i drive my other car is some werid manner, over my curb, onto my mudfield (i have no grass) and get the car into a semi awkward position. Finally, i got my car going.
now i have the problem of putting the battery tie down back into the corolla... can we say shitty design? took 5 minutes to do that.. (btw, if you ever get a chance, look at the corolla intake, u will thank god that you have anything but that).
so i driv eit around for 1 hour. thank goodness i didn't forget how to drive stick. rev matching was clumsy but it's getting there.
thanks for reading. ignore the lack of structure grammatically and the spelling. see you round.

Nice to see your out! I just brought mine out yesterday and got stranded at work because of all the snow we got. Hopefully that was the last of it!!!
This is why people put tricle chargers with automatic shutoff on their batteries over the winter.
i borrowed my friends battery charger.. it dosen't work.
on me and him.
i took my car out last week, then drove it for about an hour to let the battery charge up, anyway, still some snow and sands on the ground here, hopefully i can put my summer tires on next week
If I may suggest: next winter remove the battery from the car and let it sit inside where it is warm. You can also racharge it properly by putting the charger on it for a few days before you put it back in the next spring.

Too violent?
Whatever! To the uninitiated: "bump starting" (aka "popping the clutch", aka "push starting") is when you get the car rolling, turn the ket to "ON", put the car in gear (usually 2nd) and quickly release and re-engage the clutch to turn the engine so as to start it. That's all you starter does... spin the motor at about 100 rpm until it fires up... At those low speeds, it's not too rough on your clutch or tranny, I would think.
V - who used to bump start his 64 VW in reverse out of the driveway for almost a month until he could afford a new starter.
Poverty sux.
