Default oil drain bolt gasket

Is there any place that sells the gasket except for Honda. I would love to change my oil, but NO one in town(JAx, FL) carries the gasket in stock. This is crazy!!! I tried Advanced, pepboys, autozone. I am looking for the nicer ones....brass w/rubber seal, not the plactic crush ones. Does any one carry these in stock?

The factory uses an aluminum crush washer. You can reuse the old one, just turn it over. Get some in advance for the next time.

Yah the dealerships here in kansas always supply a crush washer for free when you purchase an oil filter. And like sideways said it's an aluminum crush washer.

Do you know the size of the drain bolt....I found one of my old brass/rubber gaskets for my old accord. It's a 1/2inch. wondering if this will fit? I don't want to reuse a crush washer. If not I will wait til Monday to go to Honda.

Thanks

Plastic? Don't even think about it. I think the thread is 12x1.25, look for crush washers that would fit that bolt.

You are correct. The guy at the counter told me that sometimes people think they are free because they tape it to the filter so you don't lose it. He said check your receipt...they should have charged for it.
