Default not really technical but just curious if this is a good price for these two parts..

basically my starter is takin a dump, front passenger cv boot ripped in half so i have no grease in it..

a buddy's friend has a starter from his old DA and a front passenger cv Axel.. said he'd sell the starter to me for 20 bucks, which i think is good, and never exactly said an exact price on the cv Axel, BUT my friend did say probably around 60 bucks for the both of them.. just curious if this is a good price? or if i should ask him to go down on the Axel?

you can buy a re-manufatured axle for $60 i would see if he could go lower on the axles

and definitely take the starter, they are over $100 from the dealer if I remember right. Mine's about to go to, I have to tap it every now and then.

see if he'll go $30. thats a decent price for used axles. i dont know how much more id pay for used ones when i could go to checker and get re-mans for $60 with a lifetime warranty.

well i replaced my driver side at my uncles work, they bought it from autozone.. BUT i dont know what number it was put under, i dont know where the reciept is, the boss needs the reciept to check back in his log book for something, and my uncle just reciently quit from there. and autozone needs the number to make sure its under "warranty" which makes no sense to me
