starter problems..
sorry.. i know i should e searching, i just came upwith vague results.. but anyways, i replaced my starter a year ago and lately its been acting up. i know the quick fix is to just hit it with a broom stick but its getting annoying when it happens 2-3 times a day. so is there a more permanent way of fixing this w/o replacing the starter? thanks

Rebuild it. Starter contacts are under 10 bucks retail and I can do it in about 5 minutes or less once it's on the table. Rarely do they need more than contacts.

Just get another one for about $50 bucks and I have one if you want. But if you want to wire up stuff, you can get a switch and wire it up to the starter and will be ok. The only thing is that you wouldn't have to step on the clutch to start the car, just press the button and it will turn on.
