Default Burning Oil but not smoking?

Ever since I put my 1.8l shortblock in it seems like I've been consuming a lot of oil. This morning I checked the oil level and it was so low it didn't even appear on the dip stick.

-My car doesn't smoke at all.
-I have no oil leaks
-There is no oil in my coolant

So what does this mean? All this oil has to be going somewhere...

after how long did u check and this was the result. if u checked like in the last few weeks back, and u did hit vtec than there is alot of chance of a little of oil beeing burned on vtec. and u dont have to be seeing the smoke. it burns just a little and probably eyes cant see.

if your car has a catalytic converter on it, the cat will absorb quite a lot of oil and you will see no smoke. if it is consuming that much oil, i would suggest that it must be the rings. i had a very similar problem on my wife's nissan a few years ago. the car passed a dry compression test just fine because the compression rings were still servicable, but the oil control rings were shot. that is about the only thing that would cause that much oil loss if you truly do not have any external leaks. hope this helps. good luck.

So then my question is, what is happening to the oil?

If it's the rings then the oil would burn causing blue smoke......
