Default how to tell if obd1

Ok i didnt know who to search for something like this. I just bought another ls and in the car it says 10 of 91 on door tag. I looked under the hood there is no resister box and the dizzy plug look different its grey square not white round. Is the motor obd1? Thanks if anybody can help.

Sounds like it is OBD1. If you can post a pic, that would definitely help.

Yeah its OBD 1

If the plugs are milky white = OBD 0. If the plugs are grey = OBD 1

10/91 would indicate that it is 92 model which is OBD1 and would have square gray distributor connector - would also have MAP sensor on the throttle body and cooling fan switch on the thermostat housing

This is what I read.

LS + grey plugs + end of 91 = OBD1

If you meant that the donor car had that, and you do drive an OBD0 car then, well.... OBD1 has good tuning choices, but you can get by with OBD0 as well.

Of course you'd need a 90-91 ls distro in that case, and perhaps resistor box with injectors.

well which is it? You have an 88 civic or and LS? Once again look at the FAWKIN plugs, Milky white = OBD 0 and Grey = OBD 1

any HOnda from 88- 91 is OBD 0

92-95 = OBD 1

96 + in OBD 2
