Exactly. I can tell you for sure its OBD1, looks to be a B-series Vtec distributor.

Yes, if you google that TD-##U, you should be able to see what motor it belongs to.

Definately OBD1.

OBD0 -> 2 milky white plugs
OBD1 -> 2 grey plugs
OBD2 -> Single grey plug

People have told you to look for the stamp, what does it state/read?

TD-84U USDM ITR and JDM ITR/CTR OBD2
TC-08A USDM ITR and JDM ITR/CTR OBD2
TD-84U USDM GSR, and JDM GSR OBD2
30105-P75-A01 LS, GS, RS OBD2
TD-68U USDM GSR, and JDM GSR OBD1
TD-44U USDM Del Sol VTEC Si B16A3, and JDM Civic Sir OBD1
TD55 USDM LS, RS, GS JDM Esi and other like models OBD1
TD-22U JDM B16A XSI, and SiR OBD0
TD-23U/ or TD-24U USDM LS, RS, GS, and JDM like models. OBD0

I would say that it is more then likely a TD-68U as it look to be OBD1 B-Series VTEC dizzy, and GSR's are more common to find over Del Sol B16A3's.

you guys are great. its a td-44. i saw it on craigslist that had it going for 30$. i went and picked it up anyway. the difference in the legs are obvious once you look at them from an LS. the LS is more like this "Y". the vtec ones have the bottom front leg like this "y" if not that leg would hit the vtec housing. now i understand why you CAN use an LS but you'll have to remove a leg.
