Default Tein Coilover Owners...

Hey Guys, well I got my tein type-flexes on and love it so far... Here's a pic of them outta the box and a comparison shot:

Everything seems good so far, however there's one thing I'm not sure of. For the fronts, I wasn't sure how far the shocks should sit into the lower container (not sure what to call it, but basically the "cup" that it sits in). Here's are my options:

Right now I have it at B, in other words sitting as far in as it can. The thing that throws me off is those 2 grooves. If you look at the comparison shot, there's a groove on the stock shock that I think is where the bolt ran through. So how did you guys do yours? Any help is greatly appreciated.

When i INstalled my teins, i put them to what you have labled as B. When the fork is all the way to point "b", the bolt that tightens the fork down sits into the second groove i believe. either way i would put them all the way up as that is where they will want to sit anyways.

I just installed the exact same Tein coilovers, which way do you spin the the green collars to lower the vehicle?up or down?and does the third bottom collar stay all the way on the bottom?

n20- COMPRESSING the spring will make your ride a little stiffer but your shocks are adjustable so just handle stiffness from there for now. You can lower it that way BUT

the best way to lower it with the setup you have (flex's) is to unhook that lower shock perch and spin the whole fork thing. I'm pretty sure right means lower and spinning it left gets you higher, but you should just try it both directions, it should be obvious which is up or down. that bottom collar should stay at the bottom, tighten it when you're finished adjusting that lower perch.
