i think the gsr tranny is the Y80 or S80
not sure but every B-series tranny will fit any B-series block.

you cant tell from the outside.....
the only way I know is to count teeth or look at the bearing differences on the diff

It doesnt matter what the hell the casing looks like...you have to open it to identify the thing
LOTS of people have b series transmissions....and everyone will tell you, they ALL look the same

 

Does DC2=integra type R? because it says JDM INTEGRA DC2 tranny?

 

DC2 = 94-00 integra in general

 

other than being able to tell if its cable or hydro all B-series transmissions look the same the only way you can tell is from te tranny badge or checking stuff inside. no one here will be able to tell from those pictures and if your vendor wont respond to your emails maybe you shouldnt buy from them...

The back up light switch is not in the stock location, usually located under the shifter arm on most b-series cable trannies (usually the d-series have the back light switch on top like the one in the pic). And most b-series cable trannies I have seen (I had a ys1 in my 93 da, as did my friend with a 93 gsr) the speedos are cable driven not electric like the one in the pic. The clutch release arm (arm connect to clutch cable) is one flat piece of metal, whereas the b-series arms are steel bent into a ~1/2" by ~1/2" hollow square shaft. And you can make out the L3 on the bell housing tag, too. Haven't seen that before either. Someone correct me if im wrong, b/c i am just going off what i have seen in the past.

Just my .02 but i think the hydro tranny in the two pics is some sort of b-series (94-up), but the cable definitly not b-series.

the top 3 pics are a cable tranny, and the lower 2 are hydro

 

i just realized that there are different transmissions in each pic my bad. Two are hydraulic and the other cable....seems shady to me b/c they call them all the same transmission. But it shows what i am talking about below with the back up light switch.

Plus the dude can even spell hydraulic right....
