How many miles is too many for a sportbike?

 

kinda depends on how it was maintained

people have bought bikes with 20k mi. on them with no problem

 

i'm nearing 16k on my 98 superhawk

 

i sold my zx-6r with 30k on it...
my 954 with 14k on it
and the first bike i bought had about 16 k on it.... all of them ran well and were well maintained....

ive seen bikes with 9 k miles in worse shape though...

 

Dang so it's kind of a toss up huh. I guess buying one of ebay or something is out of the question then. Not that it was a good idea to begin with but oh well.
