So I never hear anyone talk about the hx's and im buying one next week, so if you got one post it up and the mods you've done

the reason you dont hear people talking about building the hx is because they aren't very good for building. if you are going to make an hx fast you really need to swap the engine, either with a d16y8 or a b/h/k series engine. the hx is made to be very economic and efficient, hence the vtec-e. if you want a semi-fast car out of the box you dont want the hx.

but i like mine

 

the head/block are the same as the y8
the cams/pistons/vtec-e etc are different.

there isnt however alot of aftermarket suppoort for this engine, so not many people have tried to build them up
