Default Pistons

Im looking for some nice high comp pistons for an NA setup. Ive been searching. It seems like everyone like Aries pistons. The block will be sleeved also. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions ?

try the allmotor forum too, since the block is sleeved pistons that work well with other motors work well for h motors (allmotor forum has a lot more b series info than h/f...)

I know its been covered but it seems like everyone has a different opinion. Like i said ive read just about all those posts.

Stay away from Mahle if possible.

If it's being sleeved, any of them are good choices. Joel (satan_srv) went w/ Endyn Rollerwaves at 12.3ish CR and had good luck. JE has good FI pistons, I forget if they have higher CR pistons on the shelf.

CP makes excellent pistons, and most of the high-horsepower Supras use CP pistons.

i have no personal experience with mahle pistons, but it is a fact that they are installed at the factory in some porches. gotta give some credit for that.

I have heard of a few instances of bad quality control.

IIRC, it was Anthony who was building a motor for someone and posted up the measurements, showing the different tolerances used. It wasn't pretty.
