if a voltage regulator is faulty what syptoms would be occuring?

cant get enough spark too keep car running! please help

Check the cap and rotor first - it's usually just that.

most likely, you can get a car to run on just a battery, doesnt even need a alternator to run. (obviously the battery will die and so will the car)

i bumped my positive terminal on the battery and ever since then the car has not had enough spark to idle. ive checked all my grounds, had the ignition coil replaced and the icm checked? everyone said the alternator would be the first place check cause its primarily inline with the battery..
