Does anyone know if Megan racing makes a downpipe for the 03 si? On their website they don't have any, but my friend says he bought one off the internet. So does anyone know if they make them? I think my friend was mistaken and bought their 03 si testpipe by accident.

Header+test pipe or Race header=NA

as far as i know megan doesnt make any turbo swap parts....i havent seen any turbo manifolds on there site for the K-series. Maybe i just havent looked hard enough tho.

i woudl suggest looking elsewhere for a DP if he is turbo'd

 

If your saying downpipe and then talking about a testpipe as a mistake then the only other part left is the header itself.

I think the part in question is the Megan Test Pipe for K20 applications where a normal header is used (not a race header that removes the cat) and the Megan Test pipe replaces the cat...

Now I don't know if it'll work, but hopefully now someone who is more knowledgable aboutt he applications will come on here and shed some light.

Also, do a little research, you might be able to find out by simply calling the place you were going to order from. Good luck

 

Hold on before you go accusing me of being a newbie. I know what a test pipe is for, and I know what a down pipe is for. I don’t know what you read to make you think I didn’t. I was simply asking if anyone has seen a 03 si Megan Racing down pipe. My friend says he bought one online yet I don’t think they make them.
So… that leads me to believe that he “accidentally” got the Megan Racing test pipe for his car. And yes his car is going to be turbo’d, so hopefully you see what I was asking now… I was just worried that he bought a part he shouldn’t have and was asking if he was right that their actually is a megan down pipe for the 03 si. Clear now?

makes no real difference but sometimes the bottom half of a 2piece header is called the downpipe.

 

yeah man...megan doesnt make any turbo swap parts to my knowledge. sorry if my first post came off like an ***...i was just playing around...but its seems like noone on damn HT will laugh...

 

i have a Megan "Test Pipe" it is inbetween the header and midpipe on my EP3. but it is an RSX-S test pipe but i also have the k20a2 swap. it fits great in an EP3

 

Either way, I think we will be able to mod whatever he ordered to fit. Hopefully it will work.
