Where to merge dumptube back into downpipe?
Hi.. Im making my first 3" downpipe for my CRX with a B swap.
And i was wondering, where on my downpipe should my wastegate tube merge into the downpipe?
And is it nessecary for a flex tube? Does anyone run a re-circulating dumptube w/o a flex pipe
TYIA

Some people don't like the sound, including myself.
I still haven't been able to do this yet, but did a lot of reading on the subject. It should be at least 18" away from the turbo, and merge with the downpipe at the narrowest angle possible to avoid turbulence. I bought a flex section, but quite a few setups I've seen don't have them. It can't hurt to put one in there.

Yes, its not emissions legal here.. While, there is a very rare chance of me getting caught. But at big local events (cscs) police often set up road blocks and pull over all the import guys and the ministry is there for a spot check
Anyways..
So ill see tommorow where i should run it, so 18" and at a good angle, and as for the flex pipe, im not going to run one.. and just hope it dosent crack. Its hard to find 1.5" flex sections!
Thanks alot!

I think Vibrant is a Canadian company, so call them and find a distributor near you. Otherwise, Vertex sells them.
