Default For Sale: Great Project/Parts car

Hey all,

Well I'm getting settled in my new house, it's exciting but somewhat
of a PITA with work and class to boot.

Anyway, I'm giving up GG (Grocery Getter), just can't spend any time or money on it. It's too bad, since I didn't get to see the project through, and
there is so much potential.

I am obviously losing a ton of money on this one, but it's fine with
me. Any token I get back for it is just gravy. I just want a swift
end, I don't even want to part it out, just take the whole thing.
I'm hoping someone will either take the engine or other parts and
build a hell of a project car, or even build it up in the current
shell. You can definitely make money if you fix it and sell it, or
use the good stuff and part out the rest. It's got a clear title and
all.

If you decide to use the current shell, Warning! I recommend that
you own a bodyshop or you are good friends with someone who does,
lol. It ain't pretty. Well, if you want the car to look nice, needs
paint and a few "dings" removed....

As for the motor, you could drive it in its current condition, just
check the oil every day or two, lol. I would recommend getting some
overbore pistons and rebuilding. The other perf part missing is a
decent Header, Cat, and Exhaust. Definitely a 200+ HP setup with
those fixes, esp if you add engine management. It has a nice smoke
screen feature that comes in handy right now though....

How about something like ~$7500 OBO?

Here is a list of stuff, ~6000 miles since work was done:
1995 GSR Sedan - clear title
"white" like color =D
grey cloth interior
Full interior minus trunk panels
Injen ITR CAI
RC 64 mm TB
Skunk2 IM
Portflow Pnp
Toda B Specs
PortFlow/ITR valvesprings
Ti retainers
JDM ITR pistons (stock bore)
Neuspeed header
Random Tech cat
Greddy BL Exhaust
UR Crank Pulley
NO AC
NO PS
MSD Ignition (blaster coil and sci ignition)
MSD plug wires
Meziere electric water pump
B&M FPR/Gauge
JR fuel pump
RC 270 CC injectors
Yoshio ECU (9000 rpm revlimiter)
Apexi VAFC
15" Rota C8 Wheels (4 on the car +1 damaged as spare with Dunlop sp
9000 tire)
Kumho Ecsta 712 tires with ~1000 miles (205-50-15)
Neuspeed Race springs
Koni single adjustable (red) shocks
Energy Susp Poly bushings and motor mount inserts
Neuspeed front upper strut brace
Neuspeed rear upper strut brace
Neuspeed rear lower tie bar
Neuspeed rear sway bar
Moroso Oil pan
ACT clutch
Spoon flywheel
Lightspeed shortshifter
USDM ITR tranny (6000 miles)
JDM FD
KAAZ LSD
Sparco metal pedal covers!
Leather wrap steering wheel!
Genuine ITR "Ti" shift ****!
Clear corners!
Light-up windshield nozzles (J/K!!!)
PIAA 1400 fog lights!
Stock radio with cassette!

Can't think of anything else off-hand...

Anyway, if you're interested or know someone who may be, let me
know. Price is negotiable, make an offer. Again, the car runs, but
there is quite a bit of blowby. Compression was ~225 and leakdown
was like 6% or so awhile back.

The tranny is very sweet, nearly brand new, probably the best part,
esp with the light flywheel and JDM FD.

Thoughts?

Hey,

I hear ya. I just don't want to take the time and have to deal with selling all the parts separate. It pains me to see the car not running great, so I just want a quick turnaround. I think it will help someone else out, since they could make money using the good stuff and selling the rest, if they have the time and connections. If you were mechanically inclined, you could fix the car up yourself and have a kick-*** ride or sell it for a profit. I wish I had learned how to fix it myself

Anyway, if anyone is interested please hit me up and make an offer, we can negotitate....

Thanks,

Hmmmmm,

If no one wants to take the whole thing fairly soon, I may consider parting it out. I'll prob get more money for it, but more of a PITA! I was trying to do someone a favor and let them make the money if they are so inclined....

How would I sell the rolling chassis, is there a market for that? Someone mentioned it was worth some money alone, esp with the seats, dash, etc.

I'd rather sell the whole thing together, remember, price is negotiable, make me an offer. If you need some stuff, just make an offer, we can prob work it out, then you can get money back selling the stuff you didn't need.

<EDIT>
BTW, someone emailed me with a q on how many miles for the chassis, it's ~106,100 miles.
</EDIT>

Thanks,

FB

Hey man, I'm in Ma as well, and if you would consider a little deal, for the skunk2 IM, and your header, I can give you some cash, and the stock parts for the car. I need these parts for my project, b18c1 into my rex. Well if your interested just let me know.

Thanks,
Pat

Hey guys,

I have a few nibbles, so I don't think I'll be parting it out unless they all fall through.

Maybe you can get the parts from them, hehe.

I hear you.

I've gotten pretty good response, so I think someone will end up with the whole thing. If the person that gets it only uses some of the parts, they'll prob part out the rest anyway.

BTW, my name is Franz, not Frank.

Also, Thanks for the bump Bert

Hmmmm, maybe I can get a WRX....
