Default Quick Question....

Okies...I was wondering what is the last double digit mean on the stamp of the block...For example like the number 1on the "B16A<U>1</U>" mean first generation right? and what about the letter "A" on the B16<U>A</U>1 mean?

Default Re: (EG6hatch510)

i dont think it means generation and i base this off of the fact that the del sol si or sir( dont remember) engine was b16a3 USDM and it came out a few years before the 99-00 civic si which has a b16a2.

edit: i think it is just for naming's sake. a lot of JDM engines have the same name, e.g. JDM b18c can mean type r or gsr.
