need some help on removing drive axel nut
K guys im tryin to replace my clutch and I cant get this nut off. I got the passenger side off but i cant get the driver side. I dont have an impact wrench. Im just using a wrench and a breaker bar and the car is moving. Any suggestion on getting that off??
you should of loosened them be4 you put the car up but i had a problem with the pas side on my old 91 accord. i broke to 1/2 inch breaker bars and 3 sockets so i finaly went and bought a 3/4 inch ratchet and long pole and a torch.

do you have you e-brake set? is it in gear? i dont see how it could be that tight.
when i pull my axles i usually for get to loosen that nut before i jack the car up. so what i do is get a base ball bat and wedge in between the seat and the brake pedal. or you can just get a buddy to hold the brakes make sure you have some pressure left in the brake booster or you will have to start the car again.

As Back up for 92DAIntegraXSI when metal is heated up it expands, Hence you heat up a nut it expands off of the thread. That is what makes a torch useful in a tight nut situation. He did not get it hot enough to cut it just hot enough to expand it.

sounds like you already had a faulty MC, looks like you got lucky that the MC failed while the car was stopped rather than in a emergency situation
