Default Adj cam gear's

Im getting ready to get on the dyno here soon and want to make a bit more power this time without spending alot of money "yea i know pay to play, its honda's so its pay alot, play a little"

Just curious as to what kind of gain's could be gained by purchasing some Adjustable Cam Gear's. Its for my 00 JDM ITR swap. Everything internall is stock, i have i/h/e and hondata, just wondering if adjustable cam gears would be worth buying or if the gains would not be noticible.

With that said, what brand would you suggest?

depends on your setup. my adjustable gears didnt net any gains with my mildly built motor. had best results at 0,0. each motor is different. I wouldnt expect more than a few HP.

if you get any, make sure they are 5-bolt type. some of the older and/or cheaper models are 3-bolt.

with a stock engine I'm gonna say little to nada. Spend the money elsewhere until you build your engine. I grabbed them when I got new cams. When and if you build the top end or entire engine I would suggest them then....

What do you have in mind for the future...turbo, supercharger, cams ....?

Details will help us give you a better answer.
