Alright when running the 1/4 mile, what seetings do u have your heat on, like the one that recycles air or the one that always sucks in air, and also windows up or down....haha just thought i would ask around see what people say. Oh and obviously you dont drive with the a/c on while running the 1/4 mile, im not that stupid .

I forgot in drag racing windows have to be up. At track driving schools, windows have to be down.

Hand signals (like passing and pit-in) have to be given out the widow. Sunroofs and sunshades must be closed. For sedans, rear windows have to be up.

But I do run with the heat **** set to full heat, air set to fresh, all vents open, and blower off.

 

Make sure your socks are up too

 

And make sure you have yellow stickers(no matter the color), and altezza's.....hows your shoe shane?

set it so its getting air from outside(not recirculation, the other one), put it all the way on the hot(so it gets warm air from your engine bay) and either keep the fan off or put it on the first slow setting.

 

I think this also has to do with helmeted drivers and broken glass. Most drag racers dont wear helmets, and all track racers do.
