94 Civic DX with a D15B vtec swap, vtec not wired up yet,
mods:
4-1 header 2.25 header back SS mandrel bent, stock cat, stock resonator, to magnaflow muffler,
3" air intake with a REALt K&N filter


Damn my gas mileage is bad, I use 87 octaine (was told any higher is a waist of money)
I just filled the tank with 24.00 and now at half a tank and at 120 miles.
I usually get about 230 miles to the tank before close to E.
My buddy said I should be at close to 300 miles to the tank.....

ok, lets figure this out, how big is the gas tank on a Civic DX coupe? The do the math......

How is he supposed to do the math when you didn't tell us how much you filled up with?

So, basically you tell me, how big is your tank and how many gallons is "24.00"?

PS using 89 octane is a waste of 10 cents a gallon for you.

 

ok, your right, I should have been more specific, next time I refill, which should be very soon (damn eating GAS) ill write down exactly how many gallon I put in her.

and I ment 87 Octaine, I use 87 only now... I use to use 93 untill everyone here said I was wasting money, it doesnt do anything different...
