So im needing to either patch or replace my gas tank on my civic. i ran over a rock and gas went everywhere. How hard is it to patch or replace and anyone know of a site to show me how?

 

Replace it, patch repairs are not reliable.

What year and trim level is your Civic?

A new tank is $300 a used one is between $30-$100 depending on where you get it...

What year and model civic? I have a 92-95 dx tank is sell you for dirt

 

I wouldn't trust a patch

 

welding and gasoline usually don't go together, even if its just fumes

if you want to weld a patch onto the current gas tank you have make sure you clean it out and dry it out so that there is no gas OR water in the tank before welding

If you're good at welding it should not be an issue at all, I would trust a patch
