Default cv shafts

I put an JDM h22a from an 93 accord into my 88 prelude si. The motor and trans came with the shafts. I need to peice together these two sets of shafts to fit the trans and hubs. I do not know how the hub sides of the shafts come apart. Can anyone help me?

thats a bad idea.. im pretty sure only the inner cv joint can be taken apart and put back together.. the outer cv joint if taken apart will become useless.. i think ? what you could do is remove the trannt side of the shaft from your original axle and piece it together with the inner part of the h22 axle.. to do that, just unclip the inner boot, pull the inner joint out, hopefully it fits into the new joint, and get a new axle boot clamp and walla.. its kinda a bitch to put back together, cuz its got these bearing things that have to align just right..

I wish I would have seen your reply earlier. I heard that they could be taken apart by prying out one of the ball bearings when tipped all the way to one side taking them out one at a time. I never got them out but broke a piece my screw driver and I don't know where it went, which means it's probably in between the bearing. It seems to move freely but now I'm not sure what to do. I have another set of shafts off my 85 prelude si, hopefully their the same. If not they are going to a machine shop to be cut down anyway so hopefully they can help.
