Never buy another oil filter for your bike!
Found this site while browsing at work and it states that you never have to buy another oil filter you can just wash the filter and you're good to go!!

Good idea but will stick to factory. Its not as if most bikes do that great a mileage anyway?

i like changing my oil, gives me a reason to wake up early on the weekends, otherwise my fat *** would stay in bed till noon...

no, you still change your oil with these, just not buy a new filter.
but i like buying a new filter.
soon they are coming out with tires you dont have to replace, you just heat them up and reapply a coating of liquified rubber on them ...kinda like you can buy those refill kits for inkjet printers....

They've been around for a while but you can only clean something so well. I dont find buying a new oil filter that bad. If they were like 20-25 bucks a pop then I might think about it.

i figure u would get more dirty playin with that internal oil filter rather than just replacing...OEM for me
plus its bad enough your clothes smell like exhaust and now ur hands get to smell like dookie for a couple hours.

I have the Scotts Oil Filter. Bought it for $100. I change my oil every 1500-2000 miles(Just my preference). So for me its worth it. It just like a K&N air filter. You have to wash the inside of the Scotts. Its worth the money if you are doint trackdays and change your oil alot.

Very easy to clean. Just wash it and let it dry. Never had a problem wiith it.
