ls-vtec skunk 2 INTAKE MANIFOLD VACUUM TROUBLE...
That line can either go to the EVAP purge solenoid or the PCV valve. Since I have my EVAP removed, I have my PCV going there and the nipple in the back capped off.
Positive Crankcase Ventilation--sure sounds important to me. Don't you need a functioning PCV valve? Won't excessive crankcase pressure cause problems with your piston rings and other seals on the block?
That hose leads to a PCV valve, which is usually mounted in one of the IM runners or the valve cover itself, then another hose on the bottom of the valve leads to the oil breather tank underneath the intake manifold. It isn't really that hard to put together, and it does serve a purpose.
There was a recent post about PCV importance, where people were putting those little filters on the valve cover instead of connecting it to the intake tube. The discussion got quite heated, or was that on G2IC, I can't remember.

it goes to the EVAP. you have to get a t-fitting. one end comes from the PCV valve to the T, the other comes from that thing u have circled, and they T into the EVAP. (at least on OBD2 cars)
