vin number check?
whats goin on people. i'm new one the board, my boys Ross and alexboy got me into this site...
I'm lookin to get a vin number checked on a civic hatch i just put money on. anyone know where i can get that checked....besides like carfax

damn it...I wasn't even the first one to reply to this ****.
the VIN is different for the car and the engine, given what kind of car it is. Although the stupid body shop here told me something interesting - that if they repair the body panels, the VIN has to come off of them. that's why they took it off the inside of my doors. You lookin for the car's #, or the engine's #?

for both vin number actually
for insurance purposes, i'll give those ***** the body number, but i'd like to know the engine vin too, just to check for odd ****.
