o2 sensor ?
hers my problem im gettn shitty gas miles I got new dizzy sparkplugs, wires, and motor was rebuilt 2 months ago. before I rebuilt the motor my rings were shot blowing oil out the exhaust... my ? could the o2 sensor b bad and not b throwing a code? car seems to run fine except for the shitty gas miles...BTW im gettn 400 kilometers a tank,so its alot less in mph....anyone have some feedback?
usually it will throw a code. mine does. i've driven without the primary and without the secondary and gas mileage didn't change. i'm still confused on why my car doesn't seem to care whether or not i have an o2 sensor. check to see what your plugs look like. you could be runnning rich or maybe bad timing?
a lazy o2 will not throw a code and it could effect your gas milage. check your timing it should be at 15 degrees BTDC. and a clogged air filter will give you shitty gas milage too
