hers my problem im gettn shitty gas miles I got new dizzy sparkplugs,wires, and motor was rebuilt 2 months ago. before I rebuilt the motor my rings were shot blowing oil out the exhaust... my ? could the o2 sensor b bad and not b throwing a code? car seems to run fine except for the shitty gas miles...BTW im gettn 400 kilometers a tank,so its alot less in mph....anyone have some feedback?

 

usually it will throw a code. mine does. i've driven without the primary and without the secondary and gas mileage didn't change. i'm still confused on why my car doesn't seem to care whether or not i have an o2 sensor. check to see what your plugs look like. you could be runnning rich or maybe bad timing?

 

plugs are kinda white (Lean) im afraid to bump the fuel pressure up cause I dont wanna get worse gas miles

 

a lazy o2 will not throw a code and it could effect your gas milage. check your timing it should be at 15 degrees BTDC. and a clogged air filter will give you shitty gas milage too

 

white could also be over advanced ignition timing. how much were you getting on a tank before? i usually get about 460. mix of city and highway.

he's referring to ignition timing not cam timing. look on the crank pully
