Default Can I use 13" rims on my girlfriends '96 civic?

I have a set of winter rims and tires sitting around from an old car. They are 155/80R13s mounted (obviously) on 13" steelies with a 4x100 bolt pattern. My question is, will these rims fit on the civic or will the front brake hardware interfere? Her stock rims are 14".

Thanks in advance!

13 in. wheels will fit, just make sure the offset is right. or your tires will stick out, haha. some autocrossers race with 13 in. wheels. and i have seen some vatos with 13 in. wheels also,

Depends what kind of civic. I have a 98 DX hatch and I run 13s. I don't think you can with EXs though. Also not that those tires are about 3/4" smaller in diameter than stock. So you can expect your speedometer and odometer to overread by about 3%. They are very narrow tires.

THere is only really one way to check. Put one on, you should know instantly if you will have problems or not.

Cheers.

well i think alot of ricers think there racing rims, lighter but the only reason for them using 13 inch steelies is for there bad camber and cheap tires.

there is a lot of info getting thrown around here... but here is your answer:

if she is driving a ex model it will not fit... it diameter of the inner part is smaller than the caliper therefore it will not fit.. they other trim level will be ok since they use a smaller rotor allowing the caliper to sit with a smaller radius
