My buddy has a 90 da9.. He currently has 4 bald tires on his stock 14" rims.. he was wondering if a 13" rim would fit over the calipers? (I have tons of spare 13" tires kicking around)

In the back definitely, the front usually no.

13s can be fitted on the front though, but usually Certain types of rims,
or some type of modification needs to be done.
