Default Searched - Vibration throughout 2-4k

I searched and looked through tons of "Vibration" topics
and I found several things that were said to cause vibration namely

wheels balancing
axles
tire wear
mounts

and i have replaced my tires and i bought new raxles for my swap - (h23 gsr)
i have new Hasport motor mounts...
I guess im a little stumped..
When driving at low speeds vibrations will not occur - yet in second gear up at 2k till 4 k the car will vibrate and then after 75 mphs the car will vibrate gaining in intensity nearing 100
Ive moved my wheels around and i do not see any play (or feel for that matter)
all of the suspension parts look good..
i guess.. what else can i check?
The only thing i can think of going wrong is that my rims are either bent - but you'd think that'd vibrate all of the time - or that they are just a little offbalance and that for some reason during certain rpms they cause an issue
If anyone has anything else for me to check i would appreciate it
thanks

i would check your wheels/tires...

Is the vibration under load? or just cruising?

When was the last time you had your wheels balanced? It's possible a lead weight has come of one or more or your wheels and now they're out of balance and causing vibrations at specific MPH. Take your car to any tire shop and have them check it out. It's pretty common, and there's really no way you could check that yourself.

It may be wheel bearing though. Does it get REALLY loud the faster you go? If it's your wheels/tires out of balance, you'll feel vibrations but it wont be too too bad, but a bad hub or wheel bearing will be much louder and more noticable.

Eh....since this happens underload I would look at the drive train...axle, diff...you might have a bad diff bearing. How do your mounts look?

hahha...sorry to ask but you've eliminated the the wheels/tires because you said "IT ONLY VIBRATES under load" ... If this is correct, you need to check your drivetrain.

i'm having the same problem and have been trying to figure out the problem for about a year now. i was told i had a bad diff bearing, so i bought a new ITR tranny. the car was wrecked, so i had the frame straightened. still i have the problem and my axles' inner joint failes, causing me to have to replace the axles every 2-3 months. after A LOT of research i only have a few things for u. it shouldn't be the wheels cuz it would be constant vibration. u should check ur diff but don't count on that being the problem. i'm waiting for my new mounts to come in and see if that fixes it, but u have new mounts so that shouldn't be it. did u get new torque mounts? u might want to check those if u didn't. if my new innovative mounts don't fix it i only have one more thing to try. one of the guys on here is a mechanic and suggested i get a set of custom axles. he said when i wrecked it could have pushed the suspension in (even though i had the frame fixed and replaced most of the front suspension) and was causing the axles to bind. he said i should measure how long my axles and get shorter ones made from the driveshaft shop (or anyone else that makes custom axles) so that they won't bind anymore.

i don't know what more to check other than that. sorry for the long post, but it sounds like u have the same type of problem i do, so i thought i would relate my story. good luck with the problem and if u fix it, please let me know what the problem was so maybe i can check it on my car. i'm so tired of replacing axles!

yeah u might want to try that. all of the axles i've used have been reman and a lot of people have been telling me thats the problem. but i'm not sure cuz i've been through like 6 or 7 sets now and still no fix. like i said before, if those don't work, give the driveshaft shop a call and try some custom length axles. theres no garauntee that will work but its the only idea i have. please let me know if it works.

i'm not real sure how to check the diff bearing. i know its in the tranny but i didn't check it, my mechanic just told me it was bad. u may have to take it to a shop to check that. and the three mounts u named aren't the torque mounts. they r the lower mounts, near the front of the motor. they sit lower than the three mounts u named, can't really see them front the engine bay. u gotta get under the car to see them. u should def check those too. lmk how it goes.

Also - this could just be me being crazy - after a mix up at the jiffy lube - the guy put synthetic into my car - and in anycase - the vibration seems to be mostly gone now except when on the highway at speeds 60+ Am i just being paranoid?? i am scheduled to take it into a shop next week.

The axles werent the problem - they are brand new, and they are not remanufactured. I have not found the problem yet - but i havent been able to take it into the shop. .. tires were balanced correctly - i took them to tire rama for that, and they said i didnt need to do anything, but still charged me cause they had to take the rims off and test them. oh well.
now i know.
no idea at this point.

have u got ur alignment checked? toe and camber? i rotated my tires the other day and they had a wierd wear pattern and it changed the feel of the vibration. i haven't had a chance to get it checked, but i'm going to try that. hell, i don't have any other ideas so i guess its worth a shot.

yeah, what was the result here?

EDIT-

at any rate, i raised the car .5" and it virtually eliminated all vibrations! i think it's something to do with the axle angles and the fact that i've had my car relatively low for quite some time, so much so that it didn't register that the car was WAY low.

so i think this solved 'er!
