Default broken lude costed me $900 to fix!!

Ok today I got my baby back from the shop. It all began with a strange rattling noise coming from the timing belt side of the valve cover, the noise would come on after 2k rpm, so realizing that it wasn't running well took it to my mechanic, he then call me he said he had to lift the engine from that side a little bit to open things up and find out what's going on, well the tensioner broke, timing belts were shreading and the worst of all a piece of the tensioner bolt broke inside. To conclude, 2 timing belts were replace water pump , new hydrolic tensioner which I know it sucks , cam seals cranks seal balancer gasket, new oil changed and finally a new valve cover gasket which it needed badly, it was free gift from honda for sending the wrong tensioner bolt and free installation from my mechanic. all of this costed me $900 I'm just hoping I don't get another expensive repair like this again for days to come

if you have an autotensioner fail, will honda replace it with a manual tensioner if you ask them to?

someone needs something sweet to calm the **** mood, like he said this isn't english class, just a forum we all prelude fanatics use to share information, stories and anything related to this car we all love. I apoligize if I in anyway insulted anyone with my english, English is my second language and I learned it about 13 years ago, I do speak 3 languages fluently Spanish, portugues and english. I also can communicate ok in Italian. If this thread is going to turn out into flames then moderator please Lock it. Thanks all for your opinions good and bad " I ain't mad at you"
