I don't know if he's on this board or not...I bought what was supposed to be a Hondata with boost installed in a P75 ecu. What I received was a PR3 with no Hondata at all...just a Hondata sticker on the cover. It was a P75 case but the board was replaced with a PR3 inside it. When I asked what was up I received no reply until I lodged a complaint with Paypal. Putz says his girl bought it for him & he never looked inside it so he didn't know what it really was, then says maybe I just took the Hondata out after I got it and am trying to scam him!!! Scammer accusing me of scamming him! Alot of nerve. Then he tells me "I bought a tranny with your money so I can't refund you." Nice, he gets an LSD tranny, I get a useless ECU. Since he won't accept it back, and I won't ship it back w/o refund first, we finally agree that I will sell it myself and he will refund the difference. Like an idiot I cancel the PayPal complaint accepting his word on it, he disappears again and PayPal won't let me reinstate the claim again. He has since scammed 2 other guys on Ebay also.

Well that's because you're real smart & I'm a real idiot, thanks for your support. I love it when people cruise around the forums berating scam victims like it's our own fault and we had it coming. Like all the rape victims who were asking for it becuase their skirts were too short. I was unaware that once you cancel a complaint PayPal/Ebay will not allow you to reinstate it or start another one for the same transaction.

 

Hey, if you paid by credit card via paypal, you could file a complaint with the credit card company to investigate the charge. That is what I do now since got screwed one too many times and since Paypal does not allow you to file a complaint twice, this is a backup way of handling the charge.

 

Yeah I'll try that...thanks for the reminder. I thought I used my PayPal balance but I double checked and it looks I did use a credit card so I'll see what happens. Its a long and tedious process with them, but it has worked in the past for me.
