Default 3 Trans ?'s

I'm swapping out a F22 auto to H22 5spd. To my knowledge all H series trans can work on an f22. However, many 90-93 accord parts fit with 92-96 preludes. But, will a 98 2.2L H22 fit as well and would the starter fitting the 92-96 ludes fit that tranny?

2nd question...looking at the different gear ratios from F22 auto to manual H22 (or F22), what kind of quickness will i gain with the better gears? ex. F22 auto 1st gear 2.705 (i believe) compared to F22/H22 1st gear 3.307

Also, how much quicker would the H22 be compared to the F22? I know 1st gear is the same and then they differ 2nd through 5th.

My first question is do you have the parts for an auto-manual swap ready?

1. It should fit. The trannies were identical. Just dont get the tranny with ATTS i think its code is m2u4 or something like that.

2. You will notice the engine pick up quicker since the gearing is a lot closer than the f22 tranny.

3. It will be noticeably quicker but i dunno how much faster since i havent done it myself.

ATTS = Active Torque Transfer system i think? Something along those lines. It just feeds more power to the outer wheels when cornering. From what i have heard ATTS doesnt like massive amounts of power and most people disable it. There might be more info in the prelude section might wanna check there and see what they say.
