Yes, the cars I have actually full out raced and got beaten by are cars that are boosted. I have been putting my S to the test when racing it to see what exactly its capable of doing just stock. I have been very impressed with its performance taking out numerous Z's G35's Mustang GT's. The only cars that actually gave me a run for my money were the modified Evo's GTI's and 300z's & WRX‘s. Would you say this is normal, and nothing to get excited over or am I just a good driver. I’m not bragging just seeing if this is true about other S owners that have stock S2000’s. Off the line I keep it about 4700rpm then just punch it and redline all my shifts perfectly with the speed shifting I have learned in my SCCA classes. They really dont teach us to street race, just kind of picked up how to time my shifts perfectly by what they are teaching us. Let me know if its different for any of you other guys.

sounds about right... Z's, G35's, & GT's should all be right by your side if your stock... modded EVO's SHOULD get you unless your a class A driver and they just suck. I've owned an S2K for a long time (about 4 years) and I've encountered many different cars, me being stock, them being modified, vice versa... s2k's are quick stock, but if you are barely beatin modified EVO's, WRX's... then they just probably don't know how to drive... that's my opinion...

depends on the year of the WRX, ones I've raced were SLOWW... The would get the hit because of awd, but I would EASILY walk past afterwards.

I've always launched alot higher RPM then that... consistently pull 2.0 sec 60' times with street tires on the street, nothing incredible, but not shabby I would think?

i never have problems with g35s, and for a Z depends on the mods, from a roll on the highway after 90 they start to pull, in the quarter the S is usually faster, but with 4.56 gears its a different story.
