DOWN SHIFTING

when i down shift my s2000 makes a horrible noise. is this normal?

Horrible noises are never normal.

its hard to explain. it vibrates and makes a rattling noise.

Make sure you press the clutch in all the way before changing gears.

The rattling can be anything from a loose heatshield to an unbalanced drivetrain.

Clutch in all the way, makes rattle. Misaligned/dead throw-out bearing anyone?
