What do i need to do to wire a Ls in my 2000 civic dx hb? ive never played with obd2b before any imput would be apreciated thanx

 

i have a 2000 civic DX and i put a b18c in my car....

what info do you need? ecu info? engine wire harness?

 

use your dx wiring harness to make it easier

 

do any mods need to be mad to the engine harness

 

meaning extend the wires that dont reach? ive heard that was easier or you could use a ex civic harness or something depending on the swap

 

pretty much engine harness ive done swaps before just never with obd2b

 

i think that the obd2 ls wire harness should plug up to the stock one shouldnt it?

no, it does NOT fit at all. its a totally differant wire harness.

you might have trouble with the 3 wire IACV.

it might be benfical to use a 99-00 Si wire harness. then just leave the vtec plugs unplugged.
