idea what to put on instead of my sunroof ?
resently removed my sunroof so I have a big *** hole in my rex .. what could i use to cover it
i though about a aluminium pice but if u have a better idea pls let me know

I dont think my ckick would love it .. hast rust all over and when it rains it leaks so I'am thinking on putting a pice of aluminium and some rivets around

I think Lexan and the CF plug would sound all ding ding plasticy when it rained. Put in a manual sunroof or the original from a yard.

if you use aluminum, there are lots of different ways to do it represented in the ax/rr forum so have a look there. i'd recommend mounting whatever material you choose like adam does in the cf kit i linked above. works like a charm. perhaps substitute rivets for the countersunk screws depending on material choice and thickness, but the L brackets are good.
whatever fasteners you use, remember- start in the centers and work your way out to avoid wrinkles.

sunroofs are very critical to weight issues. I would leave it off and either investigate about getting a jdm glass top or going with some kinda glass cover (remember to tint). If not go with the Carbon Fiber, i think thats the best beause its super light. Remember the motor for the sunroof itself is heavy.
