If you keep it real shiny, when girls ride with you you can see down their shirt. Only reason I'd consider replacing my roof with carbon fiber, its just too "JDM" for me.

A CF room isn't JDM. It's a ricer peice of ****. You're replacing the headliner with something that weighs just about the same, but you're spending a ton of money on it. This is like the CF fuel pump cover.

Hey those are functional... hahaha not!

If a hood costs about $350-400, that headliner must go for about $450-500. Thats a lot of money to make your interior look like crap.

haha or CF center caps, CF antenna block off plate, CF OEM gathers rear speaker covers, an a bunch of other useless same weight OEM objects...

Rice Patrol should be handing out tickets to anyone who spends as much on a carbon fiber fuel pump cover as they did for there hood or trunk lol.... I have CF hood an trunk but I did that for a purpose, i think anything else should be submitted to Uncle Bens academy of Rice... IMHO.....

i personally think (even though it has no weight reduction/performance merit) that a carbon fiber overlay on the outside of the car looks pretty damn sweet. The carbon in the car however would make the inside of the car really dark all the time, notice why in pretty much every car they have a tan ceiling and why you never paint a ceiling in your house black/a dark color.

wow..this turned real ugly really fast...i was talking about on the outside, not on the inside as a headliner..i like c/f as much as anyone else but the headliner is going a little overboard.

the only reason why i posted that was because you stated in your title "eg6 carbon fiber roof" i was wondering if the term ROOF was your headliner or were you referring to the ROOF OF THE CAR?

I have no idea how you plan on putting a CF roof onto a Civic.

Is that a CFRP roof, or just an overlay.

HCI had an article about CF overlay maybe 2 year ago, on neil's S14.5

There is a guy with a mustang who made a carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof to replace the steel one.
