Default abs sensor

this might be a dumb question but here it is.
i bought a 95 ls and it was a theft recovery. they stole the rims and dropped the car.
in turn they pulled it on the rotors onto the flatbed. so now the rear abs sensors wires are cut in half on both sides. and of corse the abs light is on.
my question is can i just sodder them back together or do i have to replace them.
they are a bitch to find used and the dealer wants 109$ for each of them.
