You're getting it sleeved right?
If not, you'll have to get the Mahle Gold series pistons. They work damn well though.
I dont' think the block should crack until you get in the 400hp range. To be safe - don't go over 300whp on a stock block.

Thats crap your blok will not crak even if you dont get all those pistons and crap all you need is a high boost head gasket, arp headstudkit, good fuel management like hondata, neptune, and so forth injectors to match what ever boost the turbo is puttin out and a kick a** tunerand ur good trust me I know . People get the whole boost thing confused its not about the psi its about the tuning I have friends with stock bottom ends on Ls,gsr h222 you name it runnin 10 to 15psi daily driven but fine tuned not no b.s tuner . remember its all in the tuning honda engines on boost and stock internals tuned will last just as long as wrx gsx and all those others all wheel drive pieces of sh**
Ok. Thats all bullshit.
Do NOT listen to ^^ that guy. He obviously knows nothing. The weakest part of an h22 are the ringlands and they WILL crack.
We do not have the same thing as B series engines. Their pistons can handle a lot more. Don't take shortcuts with the h22. Coming from someone with an H22.
And PSI doesn't matter - its the amount of HP you're making. And he won't last long at 300whp at all. He'll break down very quickly. Yes tuning is key; however, if something is weak - tuning can't make it "STRONGER" per se.

wow.. there is alot of WRONG info in here...
for one, it depends if its an open deck block or not...
I for one used to think that h22s didnt like boost... but recently there have been a bunch of 300+ whp h22 turbo setups around here... runnin 8-12 psi

Well on the safe side what should i do for my block besides the pistons and stuff. to get into double digits in the psi. i know you said it doenst matter about the psi but if your run alot of psi that would automatically give you more hp..What would you recommend getting done to run like 15 psi on a stock block
thanks
thanks
who ever that was that said i dont kno what I am talking about sounds like he never ran boost before we just recently boost an h22 stock internals and fine tuned on 10 psi no probs , also for the record if you kno n e thing about tuning he also gets 30 miles to the gallon read ur books and get ur facts straight before you try to get at me because you prob think its all about pistons and crap when its not you can still fail with the best pistons and sh**
