Default Del Sol Won't Start

If anyone can offer any advice I will be much appreciative.

I have a 93 Honda Del Sol 1.6L D16Z6. It will not start. I have checked numerous things and have narrowed it down to the timing. The problem is now I know it is not with the belt, but something electroical. All the steps I have taken in my manual have said replace with known good ECM and if symptom goes away replace. I don't know where I can try a good ECM and I don't have the money to buy one on a guess. Any ideas on how I can be sure of the problem?

Check your main parts of getting a motor to run.

Spark and Fuel.

One way to check for fuel, is to turn over the ign key, and wait untill you can HEAR the fuel system pressure up. Also get a friend to help you to check spark by hold a spark plug to the engine or fram while you crank the car over. This will give you some kind of idea on what parts to check. Also do a compression test.

I'm getting spark fuel and air. They don't seem to be getting there at the right time however. I don't know how to check the ECM, but I know I need to check that.

a lot of times people think its the ecm when it turns out to be an ignition problem or fuel system related but if ur pretty sure its ecm u need a scanner to check your engines sensors. i dont really no the details about the scanner though sowwy

It cranks, but won't start. How far off can the timing belt be and still start the engine?

I was wondering if the MAP sensor was my problem. Do you know of any way to check that to be sure that it is the problem? Thanks
