skunk 2 stage 2 cams
no bad experiences yet. you just sacrifice idle and so forth. But if you don't up your compression or any other mods to your car then don't get them. what kind of setup are you thinking of running?? goals??

if i decide to run these cams i plan on getting new valves, springs and retainers. other than that no other mods. also will tightening the throttle cable help the car idle better. i know it will probably kill my gas though.
i finally brought it....along with Crower dual valve spring and retainers......for my 2000 GSR.......alot of people tell me i need to up my compression and everything.......but hey it works wonder for me.....good tuning is require if u want a decent idle.....v-tec kick like crazy...im only running factory setting(8000rpm...stock ecu)...with an AEM fuel pressure regulator for fuel enrichment......skunk2 cam gears..... AEM CAI......DC 4 2 1 header.....and Greddy Evo 2 cat back exhuast....planning on Hondata tuning pretting soon to optimize the potential.....HEY...its one of the best cams out there.....
i got a set with skunk 2 springs, retainers and cam gears. i didn't get to tune it yet but i really felt a difference. it's required to get higher compression pistons. right now i'm going to put in some p30s in my gsr and get it tune and see how it is. also i read on the skunk 2 website, they said not to use oversized valves with the cams and don't know why. maybe someone else can answer that.
